The race format will be the classic of an expedition race, without mandatory stops, with linear route and with a duration of between 50 and 75 hours. The teams themselves will manage their rest. Although the first teams will complete the course, the weaker teams will be able to give up visiting certain control points, which will allow them to be able to discover all those variants of terrain that are combined in the different stages. This decision will be part of the strategy of each team.
Besides that each team can decide to discard some CPs, we will also have cutting places, where the teams, in case of being late, will be obliged to skip any section, in order to reach the goal in the maximum time established. No team will be disqualified for not reaching a cut, always continue in the race, even if it is taking a shorter route.
